  Faith: “You have… managed to act on your own?” She asked, surprised.

  Xena: “I have. Is that really so shocking?” She replied with a giggle.

  This woman was Xena, the Higher Being with the Domain of Peace. Faith needed Xena to help with her plan, and still does, even with Runey’s assistance.

  And she is the reason why Faith snuck away so suddenly. For one, Faith was already trying to figure out how to get this woman close to Celia…

  Xena: “Celia is truly entertaining, and watching her has been a favorite treat of mine.” She added with a wistful tone.

  Faith: “…” “Shit. Xena wasn’t as simple as she seemed…” She secretly scoffed in her mind.

  Xena: “What? My Domain is important. So very, very important… that it could never be tied to just one Universe, or group of Universes, timelines, etc.” She continued with a haughty tone and expression.

  Faith couldn’t speak, as she wasn’t sure about this woman’s intentions now. Xena and she secretly agreed to this plan behind Celia’s back, and Xena never gave any indication that she was going to betray Faith.

  Faith: “Will you… go against me now?” She nervously asked.

  Xena: “With the core System even joining you, for what reason should I stop your plan from occurring?” She replied with a raised eyebrow.

  Faith: “So many will die, everyone will be cleansed, and every Universe will… be reset. Does this not thoroughly insult your Domain?” She explained with a confused tone.

  Once she finished, Xena stared Faith down for an entire minute, before she then… started laughing like crazy.

  Faith: “???”

  Xena: “There is no such thing as a bloodless peace, Faith. The trajectory of these Universes, even the better-off ones… is worthless.” She said after she stopped laughing.

  Faith: “Worthless? Who are you to define that?!” She angrily replied.

  Runey: “Faith, be careful. Xena is NOT someone that should be messed with. Let alone get pissy with her…” She quickly warned, discreetly in Faith’s mind.

  Faith: “…”

  Xena: “There is no balance, and where there is some semblance of it… said balance is weighed wrongly. Any progress is meaningless, as it would all be swept away by some Higher Being, which finds it all to be an insult to life.” She answered, not upset in the least with Faith’s words.

  Faith: “But…” She was cut off.

  Xena: “Why are you getting cold feet now? If Runey didn’t act, then I would have, eventually.” She exclaimed with a scoff.

  Faith: “You mean…” She didn’t say more than that.

  Xena: “Either way, this will all end. Your plan, while cruel, is technically better for everyone. After all, Runey and I would mercilessly erase every being here, and start over completely.” She continued.

  Faith: “…”

  Xena: “Be grateful that we’ll allow this… mercy, Faith. If not for your plan, then Celia would truly be erased.” She added, patting Faith’s shoulders.

  Faith: “…” “I was actually played!” She exclaimed with great rage in her thoughts.
